Nick Maltese Studio realize ‘Dream Up’ for Milan Design Week 2024. The four plastic installations takes visitors on a thought-provoking journey, playing with colour and unprecedented, dreamy schemes.

The installations were Sybil (Via Durini), Source of Freedom (Corso Monforte), Space Walker (Piazza San Babila) and Deep City Life (Piazza San Babila) and Moby Dick (Via Mascagni corner Visconte di Modrone)

We create five different QR codes for each installation that referred to augmented reality instagram filters that continued the symbolism of the tangible works created by Nick Maltese.

Each one explores a particular aspect of the dream, linking it to the problems of the planet’s survival.

The first courtroom simulation in the Metaverse,

The event involved law students from the Department of Legal Sciences at the University of Salerno in the simulation of a criminal trial in the Metaverse.

This is the first case in Italy of a simulated trial, which will allow the students involved through Virtual Reality Visors to try their hand at being the Public Prosecutor, Defender and Judge 2.0. in a digital courtroom in the Metaverse, providing them with a truly unique and immersive experience.

NFT MetaInk

The idea was to close the life cycle of artwork “Head ⅕” made by Gabriele Pellerone from the virtual to the physical world.

We have transformed the digital artwork into a 3D digital hologram sculpture that was showed in Milan during the event: Milano Design Week.

In this project we also included the possibility of living the experience into the Dart Dynamic Museum (watch here this project) to show the potential of this new technology.
To see people being enthusiastic about joining into the experience was very satisfying for us.

The essence of life are the natural elements that represent the evolution of the earth.

With the artist Gabriele Pellerone, we have created a collection of 2000 NFT items on Polygon blockchain representing the combination of primary natural elements such as water, earth, fire, animals texture and precious materials.

The goal in the roadmap of this project is to make these artworks wearable in every metaverse by user’s avatars.

MetaStage with BigMama

MetaStage with BigMama

MetaStage, a new way to experience streaming live-shows.

Thinking, designing and developing BigMama into the MetaStage, the first live concert entirely in the metaverse by an Italian artist, in collaboration with LIVENow Italia was an exciting challenge.
The virtual space was inspired by the South Beach (Florida) where the user could enjoy an immersive experience with live music.
Many structural elements have been included to give a realistic setting, such as the stage, 3D logos, buildings, streets and natural elements.
